Educational Nanny – Chelsea

Imperial Nannies client in Chelsea (SW3) is seeking a high calibre live-in Governess/Educational Nanny for their two school-aged boys.

The governess/nanny will be responsible for helping the boys with their homework, liaising with their school for additional learning materials and exercises, planning and facilitating additional lessons at home, and aiding both their educational and social development.

The governess/nanny will also need to plan suitable outings and activities to supplement the boys’ learning.

It is essential that the applicant holds a teaching qualification, or has higher childcare education, and at least five years’ experience caring for and educating children in a private UK home/s.

The governess/nanny will need to be able to work as a team and to have a muck-in attitude towards nursery duties and cooking, alongside the full-time housekeeper.

Fluent spoken English is essential, as is a willingness to travel on school holidays. Hours of work will be around 40 a week, across Monday – Friday, plus babysitting.

A private double bedroom and en-suite bathroom will be provided, but the governess/nanny will need to go home on the weekends.

Position to commence as soon as the right person is found.

Salary negotiable around £600 - £800 per week net, depending on experience and qualifications.
