Full-time Live-in Travelling Nanny in London & New York – London

An international British / Swiss family with two young daughters are looking for a new live in, full time nanny to join their busy household, with some housekeeper duties.

Background

This is an international British/Swiss family with two lovely daughters aged 1.5 and 2.5. They live in London but regularly travel to New York and other locations all over the world. They have a fully staffed household, however depending on location full staff might not be available – therefore everyone is expected to be very flexible in their approach, helping out in the household wherever needed.

Duties

As a live in nanny you will be in charge of all childcare duties for the two little girls, including cooking fresh and healthy meals for them when required. Sometimes there will be another nanny to share duties with. You will also help out with the upkeep and cleaning of the house as and when needed – some laundry, ironing or overall cleaning but the main focus of this role is the children. As this is a busy household with lots of last minute travel, you should be flexible in your approach and willing to get stuck in with any task as and when needed.

Location

The family are based in London with active travel to New York and the rest of the world. The main basis is London however this is a travelling position meaning you will be expected to travel with the family. This is a live in role so the family provide a bedroom and bathroom for you at their locations.

Days/Hours

5,5 days working from 8am – 8pm on weekdays with 2 hours break. There is an option to only do 5 days for a slightly lower salary pro rata.

Languages

You should speak a good level of English.

Special Skills

You must have experience as a nanny and willing to do some housework or cooking when needed. You must have a European Passport to be able to travel with the family all over the world as late notice.

Package Offered

Up to £550 net p/w depending on background and experience.

Interview/Start date

The family is interviewing now, with the role to start beginning/mid August 2017.
