Nanny

Silver & Bow is looking for a full-time Nanny with excellent cooking skills to work for a close, loving VIP family based in London. Cooking delicious meals (for the children only) will be an important part of this position so its important that you do genuinely love cooking.

The family require a responsible, intelligent, highly competent and switched on nanny who is well organised and can keep on top of the childrens’ timetables, supporting the parents to create a consistent, harmonious home environment amidst ever changing schedules. It’s important that you can cook well because it will be one of your key responsibilities to ensure they eat a varied, healthy balanced diet. The role can be live in or out, if living in there is a completely separate 2 bedroom apartment provided within walking distance. The children are at nursery/school so there is a large element of preparation and organisation required and you will have downtime during the day. The role can be a rota, or Monday to Friday. The two nannies will ensure the family is covered with any and all babysitting requirements as well as travel (which only takes place during school holidays).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Caring for 3 children aged 3, 6 & 8yrs

Preparing a menu and cooking simple, delicious, fresh meals for the children

Full nursery duties: tidy up bedrooms, playroom and kitchen after use

Supporting the parents with discipline

Helping to ensure the household runs smoothly, thinking ahead and ensuring good flow of communication.

Days/Hours: (Can be Rota, 1 week on/off or Monday to Friday)

Monday to Friday

2 mornings a week 6:45am to 9:10am

5 afternoons a week 2:30pm to 7:30pm

The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching, longevity in their previous roles and an understanding of requirements and expectations when working with a high profile family.

The candidate will be joining a small team of household staff so you must have a collaborative, muck in attitude.

Start: ASAP although will wait for the right person.

Travel: Candidates must be happy to travel with the family during school holidays so please only apply if you are willing and able to do so.

Salary: £££ 25k-50K gpa Dependent on experience
