Ad-Hoc Proxy Parent position for a Professional Nanny

A professional and busy family in Kensington W8 are looking for an organised, highly professional and loving Nanny to care for their two sons aged 6 and 9 years old. The position is an Ad-hoc, Proxy parent role. The family have other household staff and are looking for a Nanny to join their family to provide love, care and organisation to the family home whilst away.

The mother knows her schedule 3-4 weeks in advance and care will range from 24-96 hours (1-4 days) either in the week or weekend. The Nanny will be required to help with the morning and bedtime routines, meal prepping, and keeping the home tidy/running smoothly.

Weekday care:

The Nanny will be required to walk one of the boys to school and carry out school pickups if the driver is not available. They would like someone organised to ensure that the children complete their homework, practice piano and that their bags are ready and prepared for school. The children have a busy schedule and the Nanny will need to make sure they have everything they require.

The family home is traditional, the children do not watch TV during the week and use computers for educational purposes, and these rules need to be continued in the parent’s absence.

When caring for the children over the weekend, they would like the Nanny to create fun different activities.

The youngest son has a peanut allergy.

Minimum Experience Level for this job: 10 years’ experience + experience caring for a home

Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Norland Qualified/ Princess Christian/ Chiltern/ Highly Qualified

Pay: £200-£260+ gross per 24 hours dependant on experience and qualifications
