My name's Paul and I'm a CELTA qualified native English teacher, with over 25 years’ experience teaching in a highly rated London school. I’m based in the Streatham Hill/Brixton area of London.

However I can travel to most areas in zones 1, 2 or 3.

I teach one-to-one or small groups and I can also provide a Skype service.

I offer a friendly service focusing on your specific needs, whether you need a good score in IELTS, a pass in FCE, CAE or CPE, or just to improve your everyday English.

EXAMS

I will show you very clear and highly effective strategies in which to optimise your abilities in each part of the exam.

WRITING - learn how to organize your writing logically into paragraphs and avoid making grammar, punctuation and spelling mistakes.

SPEAKING - improve your pronunciation and fluency. If necessary, make your accent less intrusive. I can record you so that we can listen back and analyse your speaking.

READING - use scanning and skimming skills to help to make sense of the text.

LISTENING - learn how to pick out the relevant points of the listening.

I supply all materials, photocopies from the latest books, recordings for listenings etc.

My rates are £25 per hour with discounts for block bookings and different rates for small groups.
