A great returning client of ours is looking for an experienced Villa Chef & Host to work in their luxury catered villas in and around St Tropez. Our client stresses the importance of great service and even greater food, using the amazing produce that the South of France has to offer. This is a great opportunity to experiment and create your own exciting menus with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine. Our client has some excellent enquiries for guests already, so it's likely the position will start from around May/June onwards.


Responsibilities
All of the provisioning for your villa & managing all stock levels
Keeping your villa kitchen clean and tidy at all times, and helping out in other areas when needed
Maintaining your weekly budgets and making sure all accounts are done properly and handed in on time
Pre-arrival checks with guests to find out about any dietary requirements and menu options
Strictly maintain all food, health and hygiene kitchen standards on a daily basis
Prepare welcome drinks/eats for new arrivals
Provide breakfast, lunch, canapés and a 3-course dinner
Create and plan exciting weekly menus, preferably with the fresh, local produce that will be available to you
Complete all paperwork when necessary
Together with your villa team, be responsible for reporting overall basic maintenance within the villa and all villa operations
Delivering 5* customer service through serving breakfast, lunch, pre-dinner drinks, canapés & dinner
Ensure guest queries are answered speedily and any special requests are met at the earliest opportunity
Arrange any restaurant bookings or transport arrangements as necessary
Go above and beyond to ensure guests have an unforgettable holiday by creating a warm atmosphere from the moment they arrive through to their departure
Set and clear dining tables and dining room – including table decoration
To be always conscious of general hygiene, maintaining high health and safety standards
Villa cleanliness and presentation including inside and areas outside the villa
Daily clean; evening turn down service; weekly clean; deep cleans at the beginning, mid and end of the season; daily laundry duties and other necessary cleaning to ensure villa is presented to the highest standards


Ideal Candidate
Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
Highly professional & takes pride in your work
Good self-motivation, organised, highly flexible and pro-active
Team player with great sense of fun
A Full UK/EU Driving License is essential for at least one of the candidates
Ability to plan, cook and produce meals to a high standard
Recognised catering qualification such as NVQ or City & Guild Chef Qualification, Cooking School Certificate or extensive experience in a professional kitchen
Minimum of 1 year working experience with a qualification or 2 years without a qualification
Work experience in Michelin starred or Rosette Level establishments, corporate hospitality, yachts, previous ski seasons and luxury travel companies are all desirable

Salary: from £350 each per week
A lovely apartment close by with a pool
