Unique position working for a single dad with teenage twins, no more early mornings required starting ASAP!

This truly is a unique position.

A single father of 13-year-old twins is looking for an experienced, kind and flexible nanny.

One of the twins has a mild form of autism, it is essential that you have experience working with autism or an understanding of the challenges. Both children are in school full time during the day.

The father runs his own company and requires a degree of flexibility, he has to attend dinners and meetings and would want a nanny who is has the ability to work late into the evening – transport home will be provided on the nights you are required to stay later.

The ideal schedule would be a couple of days working 2-10pm and 3 days working 2-7 or 3-7, to make up 40 hours, if dad has no meetings he wants to be around for his children.

There is a full-time housekeeper who will help with the morning routines.

This is a great opportunity for a nanny who would like to have the mornings off.

Due to the schedule it is important that you live relatively close to the family in the Kings cross, Farringdon area.

Duties:

- Sole charge

- Assisting with homework

- Attending appointments on occasion

- Cooking nutritious healthy meals for the twins

- Engaging the children to help keep their rooms today

- Packing school bags, and planning for school projects

- Help with the children’s laundry

Salary: Up to £42k gross per year

Candidate requirements: It is vital that you have experience working with autism or a strong understanding of the challenges involved. Fluent English written and verbal skills are a must to help with homework and communicating with the children. Flexibility is required, you will be working for a single father who due to work commitments will work late into the evenings a couple of times a week. Help with after school activities and cooking for the children will also be required.
