I have vacancies becoming available in January 2021.

Maybe you have a child leading up to their GCSE's and they need some focus for the texts and techniques they have been missing out on. Maybe they have texts they need help getting to grips with?

This is a great opportunity to help your children really engage with the language skills, the Shakespeare play, the modern novel and the play as well as the 15 poems they need to learn (depending on what the school have chosen to omit this year).

Do they need help understanding the requirements for the different exam papers?

Could they use some guidance when it comes to revision?

Or maybe you have little ones who are under-performing in their literacy or they need to prepare for a public/grammar school entrance exam?

Is spelling, grammar and punctuation an issue in their writing?

Maybe they are losing focus despite the lessons being sent home or you are concerned that their achievement is not where it should be?

I am an Education Consultant and GCSE Examiner (ex Assistant Headteacher) with 17 years experience of teaching English to a variety of abilities and ages; from 6th form to Year 5.

I have also had direct experience in implementing dramatic school improvement across a number of secondary and middle schools and am regularly observed delivering creative, innovative and engaging lessons that have been consistently graded outstanding. My aim is to always make learning effective, creative and ultimately rewarding for your child as they make noticeable progress.

How:

I use Whereby/Zoom/Skype/Teams alongside Google docs and many other collaborative online tools

Availability:

Daytime holiday slots available

Flexible - most weekdays after 5.45pm. Before 12.30pm at weekends
