What kind of Spanish Course you enrol on depends on your requirements and your availability.

Most of our students (adults and children) attend General Spanish group classes - which, as the name suggests, are courses which cover a broad curriculum and are designed to allow the student to progress from level to the next.

However, we realise that not everyone is able to, or wants to study in a group environment and for this reason we offer 1to1 and small private group classes which offer a degree of flexibility in terms of both the timetable and course content.

Higher Spanish Exam Preparation Classes

Course At A Glance:

Thursday 8th March - Thursday 26th April, inclusive

Thursday afternoons from 4.30pm to 5.30pm

8 x 1 Hour Classes

Small class size of between 6 to 9 pupils

Cost: £90

Course format:

These classes are intended for pupils currently working towards their SQA Spanish Higher examinations in 2018. The course aims to assist and prepare students in all areas of the course syllabus, covering the main language skills -speaking, listening, reading, writing - as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation work. However, we feel that the main emphasis in class should be on speaking and listening as these are the areas which typically present the greatest challenges and therefore more practice and reinforcement work is usually required. The other skills, as well as grammar and vocabulary work, will be covered mainly through homework and past paper tasks. Exam technique is a fundamental part of the course and is built into the class activities.

In addition to group classes we can also provide 1to1 sessions (£35.00 per hour): these are ideal for students who have specific areas of the exam which may be presenting difficulties or for which they require further revision and consolidation work. Speaking topic:

We would be grateful if you could let us know which speaking topic your son or daughter will be doing for the exam as it will allow the teacher to prepare tasks and activities which are relevant and meet pupils' requirements.
