Salary £55,000 - £65,000 Gross Annual

Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm (with breaktime)

Accommodation provided on site for the successful candidates in the form of a Own Apartment

2-bedroom cottage which is located on the estate.

We are looking for a Live-In Couple for a Private Estate in Perthshire Scotland. The property is used as a holiday home by members from close families. Although it is a holiday home, the clients who usually reside in London can visit with only a moment’s notice, hence the property needs to be ready for the client’s arrival at very short notice. They generally tend to visit over the school holidays; however, business trips are made up to the property throughout the year.

The role is all encompassing with the successful candidates needing to be able to turn their hand to whatever is needed. When the clients are not in residence, the role focuses on housekeeping/deep cleaning and upkeep of the property, gardening and maintenance, general administration duties for the properties and vehicles.

When the clients are in residence the role also includes driving the clients, cooking family style meals, daily housekeeping and assisting the clients with any admin that they require during their stay.

There are no other full time staff employed at the property however there is a couple who we call on once or twice a week to assist with the gardening and housekeeping. The casual couple also attend to the property more frequently when the clients are in residence with the wife coming in to do the housekeeping most mornings for a few hours so the management couple can focus on other areas such as driving and cooking meals.

The main clients who visit the property generally tend to bring with them housekeepers and nannies who are very familiar with the family’s requirements. When the other members of the family visit, they are likely to bring at least 1 housekeeper with them.

Candidates need to be child and pet friendly. Good written and spoken English is required.

The role is Monday to Friday when the clients are not in residence. When the clients are there we expect the candidates to be available 24/7 with time in lieu taken once the clients leave the residence.

We are hoping to interview in the coming weeks, followed by a trial (Cooking lunch for 2 people) either at the property in Scotland or in London. The final stage of interviews is a zoom interview the clients themselves.
