“Baby Botox” refers to a particularly delicate approach in administering BOTOX® injections for a particularly natural and subtle result.

Clinicbe® founder, Dr Barbara Kubicka, is well-known for practising Baby Botox. She has many loyal clients who appreciate the natural-looking results she achieves with the popular anti-ageing injections.

Baby Botox is a term which was first coined in the USA. After movie director Martin Scorsese complained that too many of his actresses were “frozen” and unable to use normal facial expression, actresses started seeking botox treatments which while they still work, are more natural and wear off more quickly in time for their next part on the big screen.

For further information, a confidential, no-obligation consultation with Dr Kubicka is the ideal opportunity to discuss the right BOTOX® approach for you.

HOW DOES BABY BOTOX WORK?

Baby Botox uses the same Botulinum Toxin BOTOX® solution for the injections in the same strength. However, small amounts are used and are placed extremely carefully into the fine dynamic facial muscles where they will relax the muscle contractions by blocking nerve impulses. This allows the skin to appear smooth and less lined. The results are achieved without any hint of the frozen look so that the skin appears softer and younger.

The most common areas for injection are:

- around the eyes (crow’s feet)

- the forehead

The treatment is not permanent, so patients should anticipate re-treatments every few months to prevent further wrinkles from appearing, though each injection should also reduce the depth of newer wrinkles. In this respect, Botox can also be used preventatively, to delay the appearance of wrinkles.

A New Innovation in Non-Surgical Treatments

Think of cosmetic treatments and most people automatically think of cosmetic injections such as anti-ageing toxin-based wrinkle-relaxants (e.g. Botox injections) or dermal fillers. These are well-established treatments are popular the world over, yet at the cutting edge of non-surgical treatment practice, there are new innovations coming through which are designed to make treatment more effective for the patient.

MesoBe

The MesoBe treatment combines the multiple injection approach of mesotherapy with the active ingredients of wrinkle-relaxants, using a new pain-free delivery method.

Mesotherapy

Dr Barbara Kubicka is well-known for her use of mesotherapy, a treatment which uses many, many tiny injections into the mid layer of the skin to deliver carefully chosen nutrients or moisture-trapping hyaluronic acid.

The mesotherapy process of multiple injections allows a broad treatment area for a generalised effect which is natural-looking, rather than over-targeting a specific area which can draw attention to the treatment itself rather than a good result.

Mesotherapy also stimulates skin tightening and delivers a soft and natural freshening of the skin.

Botox Injections

Most commonly, these are administered using a syringe into a few key points in the treatment area, such as the forehead, crows’ feet, laughter lines or nose to mouth lines. This traditional approach means that just a few injections can be used to freeze the nerves causing fine dynamic facial movements so that movement is diminished and lines smoothed away.

However, delivering anti-wrinkle injections using the mesotherapy approach uses miniscule quantities of the active ingredient, taking the ‘light anti-wrinkle treatment’ concept a step further. The ‘secret’ to the treatment is in the gentle spread of delivery for a subtle and gentle yet comprehensive treatment.

Pain-Free Treatment Delivery

Clinicbe® has invested in the very latest equipment to offer patients a genuinely pain-free injecting experience for non-surgical skin treatments requiring multiple injections.

The innovative pain-free mesotherapy and PRP injection system is at the forefront of skin treatment technology, using a scientifically and clinically proven device which makes the injecting experience entirely comfortable throughout for skin treatment patients – ideal where the patient has any concern about multiple injections.

Exclusive to Clinicbe

MesoBe is an exclusive and unique combination of tried and tested processes for an enhanced result.

The finished appearance is natural and even, thanks to a subtle distribution of the powerful wrinkle-relaxing injections, leaving patients look rested and fresh with fewer lines and wrinkles.

Nefertiti Lift

Named after Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, this treatment specifically targets the neck and jawline area using botox for a rejuvenating and uplifting effect.

The neck and jawline are often neglected in favour of facial work. However, if the neck or jawline are saggy and loose, then this can ‘give away’ the fact that treatment has been had elsewhere.

The neck area can be particularly tricky to treat effectively as the skin is quite delicate and thin. However, this treatment can deliver remarkable results.

The Nefertiti Lift is designed to redefine the jaw and also soften neck lines for a rejuvenating effect that presents smoother skin without the need for surgery.

How Does the Nefertiti Lift Work?

The Nefertiti Lift technique consists of a series of botox injections carefully and precisely administered in two areas:

- along the lower jaw line

- into the neck area muscles

The Botox carefully administered in the neck and jawline provides an uplifting effect to the area, as the muscles are relaxed there is an upward pull which reduces saggy skin making it tighter and tauter.

Who is the Treatment For?

clients whose jawline lacks definition

those with a wrinkly, saggy neck area

patients with loose jowls

patients who have lost weight in the face, causing a generalised sagging

those that tend to tense the neck, making the area appear more aged

What Does a Nefertiti Lift Cost?

The price of a Nefertiti Lift at Clinicbe® with Dr Barbara Kubicka MD is £350.

What Else Could I Consider?

Dr Kubicka’s exclusive Neck and Jawline Programme takes the ultimate approach to rejuvenating this difficult area through a tailor-made combination of treatments designed to lift, firm and tighten for a much more defined jawline and smoother, younger-looking neck profile.

FAQ

Is Botox® safe?

Botox® has been used for many years in both cosmetic and medical treatments. It is the most popular non-surgical treatment in the UK and in the world by far.

Will it hurt?

You can expect to feel a prick when the Botox® is injected; although this is more ‘discomfort’ than ‘pain’ as we use a very fine needle.

If required, we are also able to offer ice as a topical anaesthetic and if necessary, a dental block anaesthetic is also available. We also provide pain killers on request for patients that require them.

When will I see the results?

The full results should develop 2-3 weeks post treatment – you will see the jawline lift and improve definition.

How long will it last?

Botox is a temporary treatment and does wear off with time. The Nefertiti Lift can be expected to last around 3-6 months depending on the patient. However, treatment can then be repeated in order to maintain the effect. There are also those that argue that this can be a preventative treatment – delaying the sagging keeps skin tighter for longer.

PRP Fillers

One of the growth areas of the cosmetic treatments market is PRP, also known as Platelet Rich Plasma.

Dr. Barbara Kubicka, founder of Clinicbe has created her own exclusive and innovative technique, using the refined plasma as an injectable filler for facial rejuvenation and revolumisation treatments.

How Does PRP work?

The principle of PRP Therapy is to use the body’s own resources, making it a very natural approach.

A sample of the patient’s own blood is taken, which is then concentrated and purified in a special treatment to achieve a high density of platelets within a plasma solution.

This is then injected into the treatment area using a fine needle where the platelets trigger the production of naturally volumising collagen and general cell renewal.

What are PRP Fillers?

The PRP filler treatment uses the same principle for purifying blood plasma. However, where many practitioners simply ‘wash’ it over prepared skin, Dr Kubicka injects the plasma into the structure of the skin, using a very fine needle to precisely target the areas where replenishing volume will work to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
