Part Time Child Friendly Housekeeper Sought for Family

A lovely family of five soon to be six are looking to hire a part time, long term live out child friendly housekeeper for their home in a village south west of High Wycombe, HP14 Buckinghamshire. Duties will include collecting the children from school, so a full valid drivers’ licence is essential.

Package Offered
£13.40 to £16.50 gross per hour – for 24 to 30 hours per week
Automatic car will be provided for work use only.

Family Background
The family live in a lovely 5 bedroom, 3500 square foot house in a village south west of High Wycombe, Bucks HP14 and are looking for a Housekeeper/Nanny to replace both their long term cleaner and nanny who have moved on due to personal reasons. They have 3 children, aged 7yrs, 5yrs, 3yrs and another due in October. The family have a cat and sometimes look after a dog so you should be pet friendly. The family also have horses and if you enjoy horses you can certainly help with them too! The mother will be on maternity leave so you should be happy with both shared care and sole charge.

Duties
All duties associated with the housework, you will be the only person responsible for housekeeping. You should be happy to get stuck in the daily life of the family, whilst helping with the house duties, including laundry, ironing (mainly the male principal’s shirts and bedding), both day to day cleaning and deep cleaning.

Alongside you'll be helping the family with childcare duties collecting the older children from school in the car. You should be happy to help with the baby when needed. The mother is very involved with family life, so you should be happy to work alongside her and support her with the duties required in the household. You should be happy to cook healthy and yummy meals for the children. If you are happy to cook for the principals too this would be a bonus.

This is a mixture of shared care and sole charge.

Location
The family home is in a village south west of High Wycombe, HP14 Buckinghamshire. You must be in commutable distance to this location and have your own transport to get there.

Days/Hours
4 or 5 days a week Monday to Friday usual hours would be 12 noon to 6pm
During the school holidays you will be working the same hours.

Languages
You must speak a good level of English.

Special Skills
You must be able to drive and an automatic car will be provided to use during working days. If you love horses this is a bonus as the family are very into horses!
