There are often situations when it is promptly required to replace the closet basin. The reason is various failures associated with long-term service life or low-quality sanitaryware. In any case, there is a problem and it requires an urgent solution.
There are two ways to get out of the situation:

- Self-installation. You will have nothing to pay, but you should be confident of your abilities. Improper installation may result in further problems of a different nature. However, for a man with clever fingers everything is within his ability.

Stages of installation

Evacuation pipe adjustment. Upon completion of this process, the structure shall be placed in the proposed place of installation in order to ensure the adjustment accuracy, as well as reliability and convenience of sanitaryware mounting.

Place marking for sanitaryware. At this stage you need to mark exactly points for holes in the floor to fix the structure.

Disconnection of the evacuation pipe from the closet basin and its connection with a discharge tube.

Making holes in the floor for studs. It is necessary to fix the bowls. The floor is fully cleaned of rubbish, dust, as well as degreased, if possible. The unit is put into its place, and the seal is combined with the outlet hole. The discharge tube is tightly connected with the structure due to the rubber gland. Perimeter of the closet basin leg shall be coated with silicon mastic. The structure shall be fastened with two screws.

Installation of corrugated pipe into a wall. Important point is that the corrugated pipe is not fastened with glue.

Connection with holes and installation of closet basin. After finally making sure of correct sanitaryware location, the fixture bolts should be tightened.

Manipulations with the cistern. You shall turn it over and put polyurethane seal on the outlet hole. When installing, you shall carefully control the correct location of the outlet hole. Rubber washers are placed on the fastening bolts of discharge cistern, then they are inserted into the holes on the tank bottom. The nuts are slowly tightened and strengthen the cistern.
That's all. A couple of painstaking hours and the closet basin will serve you faithfully for many years.
