Courier Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our logistics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely service to our clients.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parcels and goods to various locations.

Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.

Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issue promptly.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.

Ensure the security of goods during transit and handle items with care.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier.

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe driving practices over long distances or heavy traffic conditions.

Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning software is advantageous.

Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, handling packages of varying sizes and weights.

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: £450.00-£600.00 per week
