About Annette

Annette Power was born in Manchester and received a degree in Computer programming from Salford University while also training to be an interior designer. She joined Thomson in marketing and sales while working as a catwalk and photographic model. Annette still participates in shoots now!

Annette worked as a lone female in the corporate world until 2000 and through her immense business skills became Director of two marketing companies and Sales and Marketing Director at Panasonic UK Ltd. She also set up two private telecoms companies in this time.

After consideration and much thought as well as not seeing her daughter enough, she wanted a change where she would love going to work. She trained 18 years ago in all aspects of cosmetic, medical tattooing and decided to start at the top in the world famous Harley Street. She is still there after 18 years at the top. She attends at least 2 international conferences a year and usually attends 4-6 advanced training courses to ensure she is fully up to date with all methods and procedures.

What is Semi Permanent Makeup / Micropigmentation?

With Semi Permanent Makeup or Micropigmentation as it’s also called, you can have stunning smudge-free makeup that can last for one year or longer. It is a cost effective alternative to cosmetic pencil applied to the eyebrows, eyelids as well as lips. Permanent Eyebrows and Lips are the most transformative feature on the face because they frame your face, determine expression and when done properly can make you instantly more beautiful. Eyebrows that have been over plucked, thinned or have started to droop with age we can give you an arch or lift and give you the eyebrows you once had when you were younger and dramatically turn back the clock and instantly make you look 5-10 years younger.

Microblading is also called eyebrow embroidery or Micropigmentation, is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of a tiny, sterile, disposable needle to produce the appearance of cosmetic makeup or to enhance the natural features of the face.

How long does my Microblading last?

They fade over time and should be refreshed every 1-1.5 years for maintenance. Fading is desired as your skin and facial structure will change as aging occurs. Semi-Permanent Makeup is an ART not a science. Client results will vary. Even though it is effective and lasts up to a year in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit from the procedure. Everyone’s skin is different, it is very important that each client understands that I can create perfect, gorgeous brows but ultimately it is up to your skin to retain my semi-permanent cosmetic service. Generally the results are amazing but it very much depends on your own skin type, texture and oiliness.

Will I need a Microblading Top up?

The first microblading appointment is about structure, design, and building hair strokes. The top up is about seeing how the skin heals and retains pigment, as well as making any necessary adjustments to achieve better symmetry, definition, or volume. In most of the cases, only a minor touch up is necessary to fill in any sparse areas for a very natural look and some do choose to skip the top up appointment to keep the look more natural.

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo on your face.

It is advisable to choose wisely as cheap semi permanent makeup prices usually mean poor work with disappointing results causing distress and often needing removal, re-doing properly which in the end is more costly than paying a higher price initially and getting stunning results.
