With over 12 years of Private Medical Practice behind her, Carole is keen to continue to deliver easy access personalised healthcare in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

Having qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1988, her training having taken her to Australia, New Zealand and Nepal, she then worked as an NHS GP in south Edinburgh.

She came to the private sector after a year spent improving her level of Spanish in Barcelona.

Her interests include womens' health, aesthetics, diabetes and cardiovascular medicine.

She achieved a distinction in the University of Warwick Diploma in Diabetes in 2000.

In 2004 she completed an Allergy Degree Module through the National Respiratory Training Centre at the University of Warwick. Carole has also worked as a GP Specialist in allergy at Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow.

The practice of acupuncture is something she has been doing for over 17 years, and she continues to attend courses and meetings through the British Medical Acupuncture Society to maintain her skills.

In 2008 she undertook the "Facial Aesthetics in General Practice" course and subsequently she achieved the "Advance Facial Aesthetics and Dermal Fillers" certificate for Doctors.

We often work with your current NHS GP and share information to help get a complete picture of your health and in the future there is no problem going back to the NHS.

We actually save our patients time and expense by avoiding unnecessary investigations. Often we will see patients who think they need investigations carried out, but by spending time on the problem we can put their mind at ease and save them the expense of unnecessary investigations.
