PART-TIME AND LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER

Location: Kew Gardens (free parking available)

Salary: £10 net per hour

Start Date: End May 2016

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am – 12pm

Responsibilities to include:

General housekeeping and cleaning of five bedroom, three floor house

Clean away breakfast and lunch things for family of four (3 year old twins)

Load and unload dishwasher

Bring down bottles from children’s bedrooms

Laundry and ironing

Tidy and freshen of family bathroom

Make beds and change sheets for the cots

Sweep kitchen and hallway floors as necessary

Surface clean of kitchen surfaces, oven and microwave as necessary

Put out rubbish / change nappy bins as necessary

Receiving and placing away groceries and dry cleaning

Dusting, hoovering and tidying

Water plants

Deep cleaning appliances every month or so (fridge, oven, inside the windows, cupboards etc.)

Overseeing contractors like window cleaners when required 

Requirements:

UK passport or proven rights to work in the UK

Experienced housekeeper with 4 years + experience

Enjoys working with young families

Proactive and friendly individual

Likes dogs, affectionate with them and happy to work around them

Fluent spoken and written English

Excellent laundry and ironing skills

Strong understanding of hygiene standards around children

Non smoker

DBS check or willing to have one
