We are looking for a Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, or Mandarin-speaking bilingual nanny for a lovely, young family in a multi staffed household to help look after their children. The position is shared care alongside the mother, who is easy going and active in the children's daily lives, and other household staff. The Main 4 charges are aged 8 - 2½. There is a baby girl but she is looked after by another nanny. They are keen to find a nanny who will work alongside the Mother and other household staff, but also be confident to be in sole charge of 3 children at a time, as and when required.
They are looking for a nanny who will work with them on a long-term basis and who preferably has previously worked with multiple children before and alongside other household staff.
The family is looking for someone who will engage with the children to support their development with creative educational games. It is important that the nanny can support school-age homework and read with the children each day, liaising with the parents, teachers, and tutors.
The nanny will conduct standard duties including school and nursery runs, assisting with bath time and bedtime. Taking the kids to activities and parties, reading, and playing with the children. They will help out with meal times and occasionally cook for the children.
The family travel internationally about 5 times per year during school holidays and the nanny is expected to travel with them. They will also be using a family yacht.
Whilst the children are in school, they would like the Nanny to take on some family PA duties, such as placing orders, booking activities, running errands, and planning/arranging birthday parties.
The family has a 2nd home in Surrey. They would like the nanny to work for them there when they are in residence. Prefer to drive there on a daily basis, when they are in Surrey, but can provide accommodation for the nanny within the home.
Ideal Candidate
We need someone with a muck in attitude – it’s a very busy household and everyone helps out, a nanny with plenty of energy, who can work in a team. The nanny needs to be flexible, robust, organized, have a can-do attitude, and have high energy levels. Someone always cheerful and smiling, a positive person who genuinely adores children. To be successful in this role you would also be someone who enjoys traveling. The family prefers a nanny who can demonstrate that they can commit to a position - so someone who has previously stayed in a recent job for at least 18mths.
