Live in/OUT Nanny/Housekeeper

Full time Nanny/Housekeeper – Northwood (HA6)

A lovely family of 5 are looking for an experienced and flexible nanny/housekeeper for their 3 boys aged 11 months, 6 and 5. The role will consist of 70-80% housekeeping and 20% nannying. They are looking for someone organised, efficient, proactive and happy to keep the household running on a weekly and daily basis.

They are looking for someone with a considerable amount of housekeeping experience and managing a household, who will excel at this role in every regard, someone who will require minimal training having already worked in a household that has high requirements for organisation, cooking, tidiness, cleanliness.

Housekeeper duties will include cleaning, laundry, making shopping lists and items needed, making sure the kids swimming bags are ready on certain days, cooking for the children.

On the nanny side; the baby has started nursery 2 days a week, on these days the role will predominantly be housekeeping. However, babysitting and being able to confidently look after all 3 boys as and when required, although not necessarily daily, is crucial to the role.

The children love the outdoors, playing football They are an energetic bunch, therefor the role would suit somebody with a fun, energetic and outgoing nature. The boys are really into Lego and creating masterpieces!

The role of the nanny would involve school runs, trips to the park which is near family home, bringing him home, preparing healthy meals and snacks for dinner, planning and implementing age appropriate activities both indoors and out and promoting independence in the boys for example encouraging them to tidy toys and bedrooms.

Availability for babysitting is a must on 2 evenings a week and this will be included in contracted hours. There is also accommodation available if the nanny is there overnight or for babysitting.

This role is offered both on a live out and live in basis and the family are very happy to pay a salary to reflect the requirements.

Location of the job: Northwood, Harrow – HA6

Hours: 8am-6pm M-F Full time hours may vary at times

Job Dates: ASAP

Pay: £13 -18 per hour gross

Permanent Position

You must also have an up to date DBS on the update service and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain, along with a minimum of 2 professional referees one of which must be your current or last employer that are immediately contactable.
