Full Time Nanny

We have a family looking for a lovely full-time, live-out nanny, (they could accommodate a live-in nanny) for their 3 children (age 9, 4, and 2.5 years)

The family live on a quiet road in Woking, the girls (aged 9 and 4) are at school full-time nearby, and their son currently does 2 mornings a week at nursery in West Horsley, and will be doing 3 mornings from September.

The family have a daily housekeeper, so the nanny’s duties are solely to care for the children.

If live-in, the nanny would have their own large bedroom/sitting room with modern en-suite (on same floor as children and parents), and use of separate tv room if desired, the kitchen is shared with the family.

If live-out, the nanny would need to live within 10 miles; as the family wouldn’t want you doing a long commute; as the traffic around Woking can be quite heavy.

The girls do after school activities, mainly at school, but some at home, and some requiring an evening drop-off/pick up.

The ideal person would have/be:

The highest level of childcare training,

Several years nannying experience,

Ideally experience of looking after 3 children (including a very active toddler)

Comfortable with early education phonics and numeracy

A confident driver – they would be driving a large 4WD car

Non-smoker

Ok with having a cat in the house

A pro-active and professional approach to nannying

They must be well spoken

Must be happy to go swimming, and be a confident, competent swimmer

Be happy to join the children in garden sports such as badminton, tennis and netball

We have some flexibility, so could accommodate a half day, or possibly an earlier finish or later start on one day.

Very occasional weekend care, and occasional Saturday evening babysitting, but arranged well in advance. The Nanny would need to accompany them on their winter holidays, so skiing experience would be useful.

Minimum Experience Level for this job: 3+ years as a nanny

Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Qaukified Nanny preferred

Hours: 7.30-7.30, 5 days/week, mon-fri, with one evening per week babysitting

Driving: Essential-use of 4X4

Job Start Date: ASAP

Pay: 37,000-40,000 gross per annum
