Nanny/Junior Nanny required for family in Wandsworth, London!

LIVE-IN POSITION.

Average of 45 hours per week.

Two children ages 4 and 1.

The family require a cheerful, energetic and affectionate live-in nanny for their son, T, who will be four when the job begins, and their daughter L, who will have just turned one. The nanny will be in sole charge of L full-time, and will also be responsible for T after school and during some school holiday periods.

As the parents both work long hours that involve being away from home in the evenings, they need a nanny who will provide the children with the security of a consistent routine. The nanny may be the person who sees L’s first steps or hears her first words. They will also be crucial to helping T navigate the challenges of his first year at school.

Their ideal candidate will enjoy being part of these moments, and appreciate how important they are to the parents. They will reinforce the same values (good manners, kindness and curiosity) as the parents try to, and be proactive in their approach to the children’s care – making suggestions for activities, foods or disciplinary techniques they believe will benefit them.

The nanny must be flexible, hardworking and honest with the parents about any problems that may arise with the children or their employment. In return, the family offer a lovely home, flexible working hours and a commitment that the nanny will be treated fairly, respectfully and with warmth.

Weekly pay: £450 per week.
