Learning Disability Support Worker

We are looking for a team of Support Workers for our client Freddie who lives at home with his family in Esher, Surrey. the family home is in the town of Esher and 1 mile from the train station.

Freddie is a young adult who has learning disabilities and ASD. He loves socialising and sporting activities such as Horse Riding, Golf, Swimming and going to the pub. Whilst the current Tier 4 restrictions are in place, Freddie would like to go for walks in the park and other outdoor activities. Freddie likes using his computer and is looking for a team of support workers to help him live independently in his family home.

HFH Healthcare is a specialist complex care service provider, we help the most vulnerable people with complex clinical needs remain in the comfort of their own homes by providing 24 hour nurse-led care and support.

About You:

Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months proven experience as a Support Worker, supporting clients with Learning disabilities, ASD and seizure management (full training will be provided).

Freddie would like to be supported by people who enjoy outdoor activities and who would like to become part of a core team providing him with long term support. A car driver would be ideal as the family offer use of a vehicle.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work a minimum of 2 x 12 hours shifts up to 48 hours per week, Day or Waking Night shifts. We are looking for people who are willing to commit long term to provide continuity of care to Freddie.
