Semi-permanent makeup for fuller, shapelier eyebrows
Microblading has become phenomenally popular as a way of improving eyebrows.
Full and shapely eyebrows are in – thin, straggly eyebrows are out. Microblading is a solution which creates the illusion of more hair in the brows, using a special hand tool to add eyebrows a hair stroke at a time using special pigment in order to achieve denser-looking brows.
The fuller look of the brows helps to create a more defined frame to the face and tackles any patchy gaps, over-plucked or thin areas for a much more attractive result.
Yet the real appeal is the fabulous results that can be achieved. In addition to filling out the brows, microblading can also provide some reshaping – emphasising an arch or extending the tail of the brow for a beautiful and appealing shape.
MICROBLADING BY SIENNA
Good microblading demands great skill as well as artistry on behalf of the Beauty Therapist.
At Cosmedics Beauty based in Putney, microblading is carried out by Sienna, who is fully qualified in microblading and has over 2 years experience in the technique.
How long does it last?
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup, which means that results last for months at a time (10-18 months), offering great convenience.
Microblading Treatment Price
- The treatment costs £250 with Sienna
- This price includes an aftercare/top-up appointment after 4-6 weeks
Please note a patch test is required 48 hours prior to treatment
Early Results
Immediately post treatment, eyebrows will appear darker than expected and can look more dramatic than you were expecting. They will fade during the healing process over the following 4 weeks.
Early Aftercare
It is important to avoid touching, picking, scratching or peeling your new brows.
For the first 10 days after treatment avoid:
- Skin care products and makeup on the area
- Tanning – both in direct sunlight and artificial (sunbeds)
- Saunas, swimming, exercise (due to increased sweating)
- Getting your eyebrows wet (take care when showering)
The objective is to keep your eyebrows as dry as possible, as moisture can loosen the pigment, leaving a blurrier result.
Ongoing Aftercare
- Once you’re healed, protect your skin by using a SPF30+ sunscreen on your brows to prevent premature fading.
