An exciting opportunity has Head of Quality and Governance within our Governance Team.

The successful applicant must be a Registered Nurse with quality & governance experience who is:

- Passionate about investigation, learning and improvement

- Forward thinking and has the ability to support with change and the desire to improve quality standards

- Works well as part of a wider team

- Has knowledge of quality improvement methodology and clinical governance

- Exceptional communication with a positive can-do attitude

ROLE PURPOSE

The Head of Quality & Governance takes on responsibility for the integrity and management of the governance and assurance framework across all aspects of the business in line with legal and regulatory body requirements.

They work with the Directors and Heads of Departments to define the assurance and reporting frameworks for their areas of responsibility. They manage and oversee the processes, training and support for reporting, investigating, addressing and sharing learning from compliments incidents, complaints and safeguarding, and track delivery of related action plans.

They provide trend analysis reports and identify common themes to to the Senior Management Team to inform decisions on service improvement, reporting through the Integrated Governance Committee to the Board.
