Traditional Funerals
A traditional funeral is a dignified choice for your loved one, and here at Chelsea Funeral Directors, we are a long-established funeral home with a wealth of experience in creating meaningful, traditional services. We are a family-run, independent funeral directors, and all of our services are completed to SAIF standards. Our priority is assisting grieving families in any way we can, and making the process of arranging a funeral as simple as possible.
Our team are experienced and professional, and will take care of all the arrangements with great attention to detail, including aspects like the flowers, reception, music requirements and newspaper announcements.
We provide a range of classic choices for our traditional funerals, such as veneered or solid wood coffins, and distinguished black Mercedes hearses and limousines. Every aspect of our funeral services are bespoke, so you can make sure it will fit exactly what your loved one requested. This means you can choose mostly traditional funeral services, such as a religious service and a churchyard burial, but also have more personal aspects, like a motorcycle and sidecar for the hearse.

All of our funerals are bespoke, so if you are organising an inexpensive funeral service you can choose to have some parts more simple and still add a few personal touches. Our compassionate team will assist you every step of the way and explain the available options for our low-cost funerals, such as a classic, modest coffin, a traditional black hearse and a simple burial or cremation.

The service can be as traditional or modern as is required, such as a non-religious graveside service, cremation, burial at sea, or even a woodland funeral. Humanist Funerals
A humanist funeral is a ceremony that celebrates someone’s life without incorporating a deity or any religious aspects. As our funeral services are bespoke, we will communicate with you about your loved one’s beliefs and wishes, and then create a service that suits your requirements; with every type of service, our aim is to create a personal, unique tribute to your loved one. You can choose to personalise a range of specific aspects of the service, such as releasing doves, having bagpipes playing, and using a horse-drawn carriage for the hearse.
Religious Funerals
