Chef Academy London was founded in 2007. After huge success in Italy, we opened our first school in the UK, located in central London. Our aim is to train our students to become professional chefs.

We offer an effective practical training scheme that gives our students all the tools and skills to start a career as a professional chef. During the course you will be training in one of our partner restaurants with one of our chef trainers. You will be experiencing working in a live professional kitchen and getting an inside view of the restaurant business. You will deal with every aspect of a chefs routine, from the choice of fresh produce to the balancing of food costs. You will be learning all the techniques required to start working right away. The most important aspect and why we believe we teach in the most effective form, is that you are learning from the professionals in a professional environment. Hospitality Management and Advanced Food Science (600 hours)

Chef Academy London offers students the chance to become a professional chef and also have all the skills and knowledge required to successfully and efficiently manage a kitchen.

All students will start by training for 75 hours in our development kitchen, where our executive chef will teach students all of the basics of a professional kitchen and prepare them for the live training. Once the development training has finished the students will then go on to train for 200 hours in one of our restaurant partner kitchens, they will follow our training programme that will cover all sections of the Kitchen, the training is supervised by the Head Chef. The next stage will be to study advanced cooking techniques, this will prepare the students for the Michelin Star training in one of our Michelin star training partners for 200 hours.

Once the practical training has finished, students will then begin their Management training, this programme covers all you will need to know to successfully manage a kitchen.

We are the only cooking school in London that can give you this fantastic opportunity. This will prepare you to enter a professional environment and enable you to start your career at a senior level or if you are thinking to open your own business, this is the course for you.

Advanced Professional Chef Course (550 hours)

With this course students will first receive training in our development kitchen, where our qualified chef trainer will cover basic knowledge as well as advanced techniques, which will cover every subject of our program in ­depth.

After this part of the course is completed, students come away with the practical skills of a working member within a professional kitchen. This prepares them for the next part of the course: 400 hours in the kitchen of one of our restaurant partners. Students have a chance to pick two of our partners in order to benefit from a full formation of different chefs, offering different styles and even different kinds of cooking techniques. This really is the ultimate professional training program!

Michelin Starred Chef Course (300 Hours)

This course is dedicated to working professionals that want to boost their careers.

Chefs who are already working in the business know just how important it is to gain experience within a Michelin Starred kitchen, and that it can also help improve their skills, knowledge and earning potential. After training in our development kitchen, we give students the opportunity to enter any of the kitchens of our Michelin Starred partners.

Here, during the 225 hours of live training, they will broaden their culinary imagination and gain the necessary experience, which will help students enhance their desire to be as successful as they possibly can be.

Professional Chef Course (325 Hours)

Students receive 75 hours training in our development kitchen with our qualified chef trainer. This intense course equips students with all the basic knowledge they need to know in order to enter any restaurant. This is closely followed by 250 hours inside the kitchen of one of our restaurant partners. Here students will have a chance to train as a member of the team, learn from real professionals in a structured environment and receive the training which will allow them to enter the cooking business straight away.

Kosher Professional Chef Course (400 Hours)

We are very proud to announce the launch of our Professional Kosher Chef course. This course will be taught in a Kosher Kitchen using kosher ingredients. The course will be meat and parve focused and will follow all jewish dietary laws. We are also working around the jewish calendar. we are appealing to all audiences wanting to learn real professional kosher cooking.

Halal Advanced Professional Chef Course (550 Hours)

With this course, Chef Academy of London provides 100 hours of training in our Development Kitchen with our qualified Chef Trainer.

The students will learn and improve the skills needed, using only Halal meat, to jump into a professional environment with one of our partners for the next 450 hour of the course.

At the end of the program, the student will accomplish all the necessary experience to start his or her career into a professional Chef's World.

Professional Chef Course - Italian cuisine (325 hours)

This course is designed for students who want to become professional chefs specializing in Italian cuisine. The objective of the course is to prepare students through practice into the kitchen. During the first 75 hours of the course, students learn and improve their knowledge and skills in all aspects, from the basics to the more advanced techniques. The program will cover all aspects of Italian cuisine, including traditional and innovative cuisine.

The second step is 250 hours of training that will take place in one of our Italian partner restaurants. Here, students will broaden their culinary imagination, and particular attention is given to the nutrition, taste perception, developement of the  recipes and presentation of the dishes. This course is a fantastic opportunity for students who want to gain the necessary experience that will strengthen their desire to be a successful chef in an Italian kitchen.

Professional Patisserie and Confectionery Course (840 Hours)

This unique full time hands on programme focuses on all aspects of pastry, baking and confectionery art. It offers intensive instruction, advanced equipment and high quality ingredients to our students. This intensive programme is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to obtain broad and thorough foundation in the art of pastry and baking from viennoiseries to chocolate and everything in between. You will receive training from our highly acclaimed pastry chef in the well equipped pastry laboratory.

For career changers, professionals and beginners, the patisserie programme is the ideal one of a kind course to build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to achieve a successful career. It is essential to be well driven, have a focused attitude and high motivation to complete this course. Once successfully completed, students will be prepared to excel in the pastry industry.

This unique & intensive hands on programme focuses on all aspects of pastry, baking and confectionery art. This intensive programme is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to obtain broad and thorough foundation in the art of pastry and baking from viennoiseries to chocolate and everything in between. You will receive training from our Executive pastry chef in our well equipped development Kitchen.
