Full groom

Every single dog that comes to Sniffles is unique. Some are boisterous, some calm. Some love bathing and others can’t wait to get it over with. Some have dry skin, others oily coats and others still need specialist treatments. Even with the same breed two different owners can have two different ideas of how they want the haircut styled. That’s why the pre-groom consultation is key to our full grooming process. And even if it’s one of our regulars having “the usual” we still always use a body brush with every dog to check their condition, and decide what shampoo will work best today. We then continue with ear plucking and cleansing, nail trim and mouthwash followed with good overall wash and dry, before finishing with the requested haircut and full natural body spray for a nice lasting aroma. Every step of this treatment is done with a gentle and considerate touch, so that your dog leaves the treatment feeling as good as they look.

Wash and brush

Ideal after a muddy walk. A specialised treatment needed to maintain the condition of long-haired breeds such as afghans and skye terriers. A soothing experience for your dog, while having mud and knots washed and brushed out.

Puppy cut

An introduction to the grooming world for new puppies. The process is shorter and easier than a full groom, allowing the puppies to get accustomed with the grooming process. This sets their habits and attitude to grooming for a lifetime, so we take extra special care that they enjoy the experience.

Facial scrub / tear stain treatment £5

Our blubbery and vanilla facial scrub has natural exfoliating ingredients. The refreshing blend of vanilla and blueberry effectively removes dirt and tear stains. Leaving your dog feeling fresh faced and rejuvenated.

Paw treatment £10

Your dogs whole happiness and mobility derives from healthy comfortable paws. And paws can become distressed either due to hot or cold weather, from dust, dirt, grass or abrasive surfaces. If you’ve ever had a footbath after a long hike, you’ll know how luxuriating it can be too!

The treatment consists of a long paw soak in bubbly foam enriched with vitamins and oils followed by a paw balm. The balm contains comfrey which is rich in allantoin which helps soften skin and promotes regeneration through the renewal of cells. It also contains achillea millefollium with antiseptic and soothing properties, while lime essential oil brings restorative and tonic actions, and olive oil conditions the skin. These ingredients work together in a proven formula that encourages natural healing, provides moisture and essential oils to protect skin's lipid barrier.
